Asus p8z77-v Deluxe 8 GPU mining MODIFIED BIOS

I got to work 2x Rtx 3090, 3x Rtx 3080, 1x Rtx 3070ti, 1x Rtx2080, Rx. 5700 xt to mine on the Asus p8z77-v Deluxe mainboard. And thought to share with you how.

To get that to work I modified the Bios and flashed the new Bios to the motherboard (*****with USB Flashback) and allowed following settings to be set:

Above 4g decoding

PCI Latency Timer

Linkspeed for every PCIE slot

Onboard devices USB Controllers etc (Enable / Disable)

To get 8 GPUs working I used a Pcie1x 1 to 4 splitter.

And used following settings:

Above 4g Decoding: Enabled

PCI Latency Timer: 64 PCI Bus Clock

ALL PCIE slots set to Gen1

IGPU Multi Monitor: Disabled

Onboard devices:

Bluetooth Controller: Disabled

Wifi Controller: Disabled

Realtek Lan Controller: Disabled

Asmedia USB3.0 Controller (USB3_E34): Disabled

Intel Lan Controller: Enabled (make sure you plug in your Lan cable in to the Intel Lan Port)

Plugged the GPU risers as follows:

PCIEX1_1: Riser

PCIEX16_1: 1to4 PCIE Splitter (used the GPU on slot 1 of the splitter as Display output)

PCIEX1_2: NOTHING**

PCIEX1_3: Riser

PCIEX16_2: Riser

PCIEX1_4: Riser

PCIEX16_3: Riser

*****its important to flash the moded Bios with the USB Flashback Method, otherwise it wont let you update your Bios because it's a non official Bios no verification.

**(Will not function. Does not recogize GPU)

Modified Bios: (Make sure you have the same Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe*)*

Wow, that’s an impressive setup! I’ve been trying to get multiple GPUs working on my old motherboard, but I didn’t know about the USB Flashback method. I’m curious, did you run into any stability issues after flashing the BIOS? I’ve heard that can sometimes lead to problems. Also, how are your temps holding up with all those GPUs running?
