I used to ignore crypto news—now I’m mining daily

For years, I tuned out crypto. It felt like noise, all buzzwords and fast-talking finance guys. But a friend mentioned Hashhenge and said I could just “let my laptop do the work.”

That line got me curious. I started mining casually and now I’m learning more every day. Feels great to go from avoiding it to actually earning some ETH on my own terms.

Same here! I always thought crypto was too complicated and risky. But this has been slow, clear, and frankly—kind of peaceful. I mine in the background while I do my emails or watch a show. What kind of device are you using? I stuck with my old HP laptop and it’s working fine so far.

I’m 75 and retired from IT. I knew how crypto worked in theory but never touched it—too chaotic. Hashhenge is the first one that didn’t feel like a circus. I mine during the day and stake in the evening. Do you track your electricity usage, or just let it run?
