At this age, the faucet isn’t just income—it’s motivation

I’m in my mid-70s and most of my life is simple these days. I don’t need much, but I do need something to look forward to. Hashhenge’s faucet does that. It sounds silly to younger folks, I’m sure—but when I claim, I feel like I’m doing something active, purposeful.

It gives my day a little shape. And as someone living on a fixed income, even small amounts of ETH feel like a small win.

That really resonates with me. I’m 73 and recently widowed, and little things like this help me keep my routine going. I’ve been using the faucet three times a day and saving up for my first staking goal. Do you use reminders to claim or just keep it mental? I use a tiny sticky note on my fridge.

It’s not silly at all. I claim like clockwork—7am, 3pm, and 10pm. I call it my “digital coffee breaks.” Having something to check in on helps me feel connected to the world. Do you ever treat yourself with rewards from your ETH balance? I bought my grandson a game with mine last month.
