I started staking just to try it, now I’m planning out my long-term growth

I never saw myself planning long-term digital investments. But after using Hashhenge’s faucet for a while, I gave staking a try. Seeing those small rewards add up every few days opened my eyes.

Now I’ve actually got a spreadsheet with goals: how much I want staked by the end of the year, how often I’ll claim rewards, and when to compound. It’s not big money—but it’s personal growth, and that’s worth more.

This really hit home. I’m 66 and I’ve just started doing the same—keeping a simple spreadsheet of how my faucet earnings convert into staked ETH. It’s become a little project for me. What formula do you use for growth projections? I’ve been trying to figure out a simple way to forecast rewards based on my current balance.

That’s inspiring. I worked in finance before retirement and thought my planning days were over. But now I’m back in the game, just at a slower pace. Do you adjust your staking intervals or keep them fixed? I just started weekly compounding instead of monthly and I’m curious to see the effect.
