I told my bridge club about Hashhenge and now we’re all earning ETH

Every Wednesday I meet with a group of friends for cards and coffee. Last month I told them about this little ETH faucet I was using. They laughed at first—“Helen’s into crypto now?” But when I showed them how it worked, five of them signed up.

Now we compare faucet earnings and staking rewards between rounds. It’s fun, it’s harmless, and it’s something new to talk about besides politics and blood pressure. I never thought crypto would bring us together, but here we are.

That’s the kind of social tech I can get behind! I host a small poker night and we’ve all started mining quietly in the background while we play. I even helped one of the guys set up his wallet last week. Did any of your bridge friends get into staking yet, or are they still sticking with the faucet?

That’s fantastic! I’m 69 and my church knitting group is doing the same thing—we all signed up for Hashhenge and we share screenshots of our faucet claims like it’s a group game. It keeps us sharp. Did you make any printed instructions for your friends? I’ve been thinking of doing that for a few of the less techy ladies in our group.
