Crypto didn’t make sense to me until I slowed down and just started clicking

I used to feel overwhelmed reading about crypto. It all sounded like fast-talking tech guys in suits promising the moon. But then someone on another forum said, “Just start with a faucet and see what happens.”

That’s what I did. I signed up for Hashhenge, clicked the faucet, and left it at that. But then I came back the next day... and the next. Now, three weeks later, I’m staking a little bit and feeling like I’m actually learning something valuable. Slowing down made it click for me—literally and figuratively.

That was me too! I got flustered reading whitepapers and news articles until I realized all I needed was to start. Just clicking on the faucet and watching my ETH grow in real time made it real, not just hype. Did you end up using your faucet earnings to stake, or did you deposit a little first?

This post is spot on. I’m 74, and I don’t move fast anymore—but I don’t have to. I claim the faucet a couple of times a day, and I’ve just started staking what I’ve collected. It’s slow, but it’s mine. No one’s rushing me. Do you track your ETH earnings in a spreadsheet or just in the dashboard?
