Staking reminds me of my old savings bonds—slow but steady

I used to buy savings bonds when I worked in a factory back in the day. You’d put in a little each month and forget about it. Staking ETH on Hashhenge gives me the same feeling—slow, steady growth.

The difference is, I can actually see the growth day by day. That keeps me engaged. Anyone else here old enough to remember doing it the old-school way?

I’m 71, and your post made me smile. This is the first time a crypto tool made me feel like I wasn’t gambling. Just like those bonds, it's about patience. I even tell my church group about it—just small talk, nothing pushy. Do you keep some ETH unstaked for flexibility or go all in?

Oh absolutely—I used to buy $50 bonds every other paycheck in the 1970s. What a trip to see something similar in digital form. The platform makes it easy to understand. I stake a little ETH and check it weekly. Did you set your compounding to automatic or manual? I do it by hand so I stay involved.
